Why a Mini Bull Terrier(Miniture Bull Terrier) or a MBT for short you may ask. Mini Bull Terriers are a wonderful fun loving breed. They are also very small in size. 10-15 inches and they come in several colors including brindle and the famous white. This breed is a very rare breed sometimes only 100 puppies are born per year! They can be hard to raise which makes breeders hard to find and good ones even rarer. This breed can often need a C-Section and supervision so as to not hurt their pups. This is part of why this breed can tend to run upwards $2000-$3500 or a bit more, due to the rarity, time, effort and exspense of raising such a difficult breed sometimes pet quality can be found a bit cheaper. C-Sections alone for the breed run $2000 let alone all the sleepless nights it takes to get a litter of Mini Bulls raised. Your breeder, if they are a reputable one puts in a lot of over time and then some to raise a healthy happy mini bull for you and your family to enjoy. so don't be suprised if your breeder has a waiting list and a contract designed to protect this wonderful rare breed of dog. This breed will captivate your heart from the start. Once you have owned one assured there will be no other breed for you. They always seem to be smiling at you :). They are true clowns of the dog world and will do some of the funniest things to get your attention. I have never been quite as entertained as when I am around my Miniture Bull Terriers. This is a fairly new accepted breed by AKC and has it's share of health issues, so buyer beware. Make sure you are going with a reputable breeder who is breeding to improve the breed and screening for necessary health issues. Or has gotten dogs from breeders who have tested their dogs. If you are wanting a breed that will captivate your heart who is very courageous, tenatious and will give you a comedy show this breed may be for you. They are very loyal family members and want to be with you. They can be stuborn and hard to train, but very rewarding once trained. I have found them very easy to housebreak.Small children must be supervised, but this dog makes a great family dog, who is totally devoted to the family pack. They are very intellegent and do not require any grooming besides a bath now and then. Very little shedding and when they do you can't even tell for the coat is so short. This I love. This is a breed you need to find a good breeder to work with not one that does not care where his/her dogs are going and does not offer a buyers contract BUYER BEWARE. Often with a good breeder you will be placed on a waiting list for they are a very rare breed and the demand is high due to their charm and personality. Yes there are puppy mill breeders out there you can obtain a mini bull from for a lesser price, but the break in price just may not be worth the break your heart may have down the road from poor breeding practices. Doing this breed right is hard enough with the health issues set before even a good breeder, backyard breeding spells only disaster when working with such a breed. So be prepared to wait for the right dog in some cases. I suggest finding a reputable breeder and request all necessary paper work to get on a contact list or some may require a security deposit. This will give you more time to research the breed and to be prepared for your new puppy when the time comes. Also will assure you a position to get a Mini Bull Terrier puppy or Dog.This breed truely is a fun loving charmer that will fill your life with laughter. I highly recomend them if you are a suited family. They truely amaze me with the zest for life they have. Making each day just a bit more brighter with a Mini Bull Terrier at my side....... As you can see I am truely in love with this most wonderful breed. |
