When red shibas are young young they can have black on the muzzle chest etc this fades as the Shiba matures and becomes a adult the red color becomes more brilliant. Looking at the parents is a good indication of how your puppy will mature~tan color comes out more on Black tans as they age they are often born with very little tan coloring~ *FACT: The age a shiba's Ears will stand up varies with each puppy, sometimes they are as old as 10 months before they fully stand, They can go up and down during teething~ |
